Every year, educators are invited to submit a “Story of Reuse” featuring digital cultural heritage as part of the Scientix® STEM Discovery Campaign. This is your chance to share how you’ve used resources from the Europeana platform or the Teaching with Europeana platform and explain how you employed or implemented them in the classroom.
The campaign is a joint international initiative inviting educators, projects, organisations, libraries, schools, universities, youth clubs, and other interested stakeholders across Europe and the world to celebrate careers and studies in STEM. It runs each year from the beginning of February to the end of April.
The Scientix Cultural Legacy Award was one of the 2026 Scientix Awards, specifically in the category Scientix Awards for Arts and Culture. It recognised educators who bring digital cultural heritage into STEM teaching and learning, and celebrates the creative ways teachers connect arts, culture, and science in the classroom, honouring entries that make the most of resources like those on Europeana.
Some of the winners of the Scientix Awards are invited to attend the Science Projects Workshop (SPW) in Brussels the following year.
