Creating your own music (EN-CUR-168)
The aim of this learning scenarios is to make students realize the importance of the sound waves and practical ways to implement their knowledge about waves. Students will learn about the creation of musical instruments through history and make an instrument of their own. Students will improve their technology, media and information literacy by doing online research. Students will improve their communication, collaboration, social skills and flexibility during their group work. Students will develop and exercise their creativity and be encouraged to show initiative in the process of making their own instrument.
This learning scenario has been developed during the English version of the “Europeana in your classroom: building 21st-century competences with digital cultural heritage” online course. The course aimed to improve teachers’ understanding of cultural heritage in order to efficiently integrate it into their lessons and practices. The courses can be accessed here.
