The main idea of this learning scenario will lead students to understand the concept of the Image Myth, understanding that it is a myth (i.e. a false, made up concept) because it is impossible to achieve it and there is not only one way to look beautiful. Students collaborate and focus on their teamwork; they discuss and negotiate according to their needs and they are in the center of a collaborative learning process.
This learning scenario has been developed during the English version of the “Europeana in your classroom: building 21st-century competences with digital cultural heritage” online course. The course aimed to improve teachers’ understanding of cultural heritage in order to efficiently integrate it into their lessons and practices. The courses can be accessed here.
