Exploring a Postage Stamp Collection (LS-MT-337)

Mindfulness
I was raised in a mindfulness environment that played an important part in my life and taught me to love and appreciate all things. Many things still have an impact on my life, like blowing dandelions, and all because of the teachings that I had from my mother. My mother was the person, who when we received the post, she used to show me, and point out that each postage stamp was different. She taught me to love philately. I still have my notebook album where I used to collect stamps. During all these years of my teaching, I also tried to do the same to my students, being the person to show them and reinforce that all things around us are there for a good and interesting reason. This learning scenario shows what I used to experience when I used to collect stamps. My students experienced what I felt and experienced in my childhood years.
