Rembrandt: A digital exploration of the great master’s work, 350 years after his death (EN-CUR-164)

The aim of the lesson is for students to understand the special features, as well as the importance of Rembrandt’s artistic work. Especially this year (2019), 350 years since the death of the artist, it is a great opportunity for students to explore his work in a modern, interactive way.

This learning scenario has been developed during the English version of the “Europeana in your classroom: building 21st-century competences with digital cultural heritage” online course. The course aimed to improve teachers’ understanding of cultural heritage in order to efficiently integrate it into their lessons and practices. The courses can be accessed here.
