Very interesting learning scenario! Reading facial expressions in pictures and imagining what the person in the picture might be saying is a very effective way to help students develop empathy. Thanks for sharing.

I believe that children should be able to express themselves in an open manner especially when they feel safe at school. Using art by creating memes, to this was simply an excellent and creative idea. Thank you for sharing Karoliina

A very creative learning scenario! I’m currently teaching pupils aged 9-10 years and I will definitely try this learning scenario with them because it’s a fun way of how we can teach different emotions and how to express such emotions. Thank you for sharing your great idea.

This is a scenario that emphasises on experiential learning. There is a lot of collaborative effort, discussion, expression of feelings together with team work and use of technology. Students keep sharing their thoughts and ideas on the topic getting feedback from one another in class. Really experiential activity, thank you for sharing.

This is such an interesting and creative lesson idea! It also seams easy to implement. I love it how you used this activity to introduce Finninsh art to your students. Thank you also for recommending seppo website, I would definatelly check it!
