The learning scenario uses the theme of dragons represented in Western and Far Eastern cultures to develop reading and writing skills in English as a second language. To start, students will read The Story of Dragons blog to broaden their knowledge on these mythical creatures that have always attracted people’s attention. The main part of the lesson includes Europeana images of various dragons that will encourage students to practice writing skills by creating descriptions of physical and personal characteristics.
